Parents' Evening at the Emirates Stadium

It was fantastic to see so many parents and students at the IC6 November Parents' Evening at the Emirates Stadium.
The attendance of 80% of students for nearly every course with some schools having 90% of their students and parents at the evening was an exceptionally high turnout, especially when considering that some colleges could have attendance as low as 20% for similar events.
Such a high attendance rate reflects the importance IC6 places on communicating and working with parents. At IC6 we believe that establishing and maintaining a good working relationship between parents/guardians and school is integral to students achieving and that this explains why our value added score is one of the best in London.
The feedback on the evening was very positive with parents telling us how much they appreciate the support that our teachers provide; how useful and informative the evening is at this important time in providing the opportunity for one-to-one feedback on all aspects of their son or daughter's performance and progress and for discussion of strategies for moving grades forward.
