IC6 students win The Islington's Young Consumer of the Year Award!

Congratulations to the IC6 winning team of the Islington's Young Consumer of the Year award!

The team (left to right Shamsul Haque, Numan Haydar, Nirmol Deb and Jack Francis), who are all studying Economics and Business at Central Foundation Boys' School, beat off tough competition from other schools and colleges across Islington to win the coveted title at the Emirates Stadium.

The Young Consumer of the Year is an annual competition organised by the council's trading standards team and gives local students the opportunity to test their consumer rights and current affairs knowledge. The competition is run nationally by the Trading Standards Institute.

The IC6 team will now represent Islington in the regional finals and we wish them the best of luck in their quest to become London champions and take their place in the national finals to be held in July.
