Hoxton Hotel visit
17/02/10
When we arrived at the Hoxton Hotel my Hospitality, Travel and Tourism class and I were greeted by the reception manager, Francis. He took us to a conference room which people who stay at the hotel could use for business meetings; we sat down and asked Francis any question we wanted about the hotel and he told us about the history of the hotel. Francis told us how they were about to have a room sale where 5 rooms were being sold at £1 for each night!
We were then given a tour around the hotel looking in the different rooms, the restaurant and the bar area. The hotel was clean, tidy and very welcoming. On the weekends the bar area turns into a vibrant night club. I thought the Hoxton Hotel was basic but also quite trendy. The rooms were a reasonable size and the breakfast served was from Pret-á-Manger.
