In 2011 Highbury Fields School achieved 100% pass at A level. The Student Perfomance Grade at A Level was graded "outstanding" by ALPS. At AS Level we achieved an 84% pass rate, well above the national pass rate of 70%.

Highbury Fields is a Specialist Science and Maths College. This status was awarded in recognition of our teaching expertise and our excellent facilities.

Highbury Fields is a small and caring school with strong traditions and a long history of success. We have a calm and purposeful atmosphere in which our students fully engage in their learning and take pride in their achievements.

We have a very strong track record of good academic results, consistently above the national average, as well as exceptionally high progression rates to university. Our students' performance is rigorously monitored to ensure that each has the best opportunity for personal success. Sixth Form tutors hold regular 1 to 1 mentoring meetings with students throughout the year, to review progress and personal development.

We are a diverse community in which students from different backgrounds get on really well together. Relationships between students and staff at Highbury Fields are warm and mutually respectful; we place great importance on empowering our students to become contributing and
assured young adults.

At Highbury Fields we take pride in the relationship students build with their tutors. Students show impressive maturity, both in their contribution to school life, and in their relationships with others.

Sixth Form students at Highbury Fields follow a comprehensive tutorial programme consisting of study skills, Citizenship, PSHE, and UCAS support. This is complemented by visits from a variety of outside speakers, and trips, which are tailored to students' academic needs.

Highbury Fields has a separate sixth form common room with IT access for work and research, and students have access to the network room in the library for private study.

"Relationships are positive and productive and students enjoy their lessons. Students of different abilities are challenged and interested by their work.” OFSTED 2009
