About IC6

IC6 provides a focused and adult environment in which students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning.

Enabled by the broad curriculum we can offer we provide expert advice and guidance to ensure you are placed on the appropriate course at this crucial stage of your education.

A key factor in the success of IC6 is that all of our 700+ students can access the facilities and expertise associated with each school. Drawing on the combined resources, teaching qualities and strengths of our four partner schools we aspire to develop a culture of learning underpinned by a strong commitment to individual student welfare.

Progress and achievement are closely monitored and supported by highly experienced, motivated and dedicated teachers and support staff. Weekly tutorials and termly reports allow for the monitoring of agreed targets.

Progression from the consortium to universities and employment is excellent and students are closely guided on their career paths by a strong careers and higher education support team who can advise on careers and higher education and who offer specialist guidance on the University Application Process (UCAS).
